About You & The Position

<aside> 🧬 You will be in charge of our data acquisition projects, carrying the responsibility for their successful execution. While you may be working with freelancers or other team members, you will be the driving force behind these projects.

• You are a Data Nerd at heart and an experienced Data Engineer with strong Python skills.
• You’re passionate about diving into datasets, developing and maintaining reliable, scalable, and maintainable ETL data pipelines. You are comfortable working with large amounts of data, especially in a cloud-based environment, and transforming it into meaningful insights.
• You have a particular knack for designing efficient data models and ensuring they work seamlessly with our applications.
• You have mastered the art of web scraping, ideally with tools such as Scrapy, to gather and manage data from various public sources like news feeds, company web pages, and external APIs.
• Data quality is a priority for you. You know how to define and implement manual and automatic data checks to ensure the highest quality data for our users.
• Experience in AI, especially using LLMs for natural language processing, and the operationalizing of ML models would be a significant asset.
• As a member of our small but dedicated team, you’re ready to take responsibility from day one.
